WE OFFER FIVE DIFFERENT GROUP EXPERIENCES
A ten week discipleship experience designed to help participants connect more deeply in relationship with God, one another, and their disciple making purpose. Rooted is the first step on your discipleship journey at Anchor Church. At the end of the 10 weeks your Rooted group will become a Discipleship Group.
A four week class designed to offer people new to Anchor Church the opportunity to become familiar with our mission, vision, and values. In the class we’ll explain our discipleship pathway, theology, and we’ll introduce our ministries for children and teenagers. Participants will also learn how to become members of our Church.
Once you compete the Rooted Experience your group will become a Discipleship Group. Over the next year you’ll learn to apply the seven Rooted rhythms, grow in in your walk with Jesus, and learn to disciple others. Discipleship Groups are designed to prepare participants to live on mission and make disciples. After a time these groups multiply.
Three times per year we offer 8 week classes on Sunday mornings at 9AM designed to equip members to live like Jesus and make disciples. Our class offerings include learning to study the Bible, pray, and live on mission. We also offer theology classes and Bible studies focused on equipping members to study Scripture.
On Wednesday evenings from 6:30PM to 8PM and on Sunday mornings from 9AM-10:15AM (when we’re not offering classes) adults gather in the worship center to pray together. We view corporate prayer as essential to the health and vitality of the Church. Every adult is encouraged to participate as often as possible.
