The truth of Imago Dei means that God’s nature and character are built into humanity, like the qualities of a parent being reflected in biological children. His Image in us forms the foundation of our understanding of God as our true and eternal Father.

Peace is illusive in the world around us. But we must come to the realization that it is illusive in the world because it is not powerfully present in the Church. And I believe Jesus weeps over this present reality.
