Rooted is a 10 week small group discipleship experience that helps you connect in deeper relationship with God, the church, and your purpose. The cost is $25 per person. The experience includes 5 daily devotions per week, a couple of meal along the way, a prayer experience, serve experience, and more! Rooted is THE first step in discipleship at Anchor Church. Once the 10 weeks of Rooted are complete your group will become a discipleship group.

We’ll gather at 5:30PM on Sunday night, May 19th at Anchor Church. Pizza will be provided. Childcare will be provided upon request. Your group will meet in a host home weekly on Sunday evenings after the first week.

Through the Rooted experience, God invites you back into the earliest pages and story of the church. You can expect to pursue an experience based on that church in Acts 2. Look at how the Bible describes that community:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now all the believers were together and held all things in common. They sold their possessions and property and distributed the proceeds to all, as any had need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved”

(Acts 2:42-47 CSB).

This paragraph shows off the beauty of the early church. The Rooted experience connects you to the adventure of this world-changing community of Jesus. It will connect you in at least three ways.
